Included in this heavily user-generated and manageable layout is a revision and approval system (in which users can themselves propose content changes which moderators then approve). The Drupal base also allows website administrators to easily update each section's content whether that be through text, image, video, or audio uploads. To heighten its networking potential, the site is also set up with Facebook Connect. Other third party services used by the site to provide for greater content and interactivity include Amazon's Affiliate Widgets for Music for song previews.

In terms of the site and logo, Contagious Networks was greatly inspired by the painted, graffiti revolutionary wall writings in Cuba and by similarly painted menu signs in Havanna cafeterias. At the moment, Contagious Networks is developing an iPhone app that will be connected to the site and therefore make Salsatimba.com's important information mobile-accessible.

Contagious Networks' use of the color as a base for the site gives Bounce an independent and daring online personality akin to the character they seek to foster within their members.

In addition to website design and development, an event management and online registration platform were provided with the help of Drupal, CiviCRM, and Authorize.net (which accepts all major credit cards). CiviCRM is an open-source constituent management solution that provides multiple features including event registration, participant tracking, sign-up/membership management, and personalized e-mail blasts.

Prototype Javascript was used to create an adjacent image gallery that provides an easy-to-use navigation and caption system while remaining unintrusive and thereby enabling focus to remain on the photos themselves.

Contagious Networks produced an effectively white background website that, instead of sticking to popular top-down portfolio formats, took full advantage of horizontal scrolling -- allowing Joanna's work to be displayed in a straight line and eliminating the need for tedious, time-consuming click-ons or click-throughs. Using PHP, a basic content management system was created to facilitate client-friendly image updates and additions.

Posed upon a dark background, the website's traditional rectangular layout and its photography does indeed transport users to an earlier time. Contagious Networks also conceptualized and designed a print logo, a three-dimensional vector sketch of the restaurant's exterior, that completely satisfied The House's desire to have a print identity that could be recognized without caption -- that could stand on its own.

Along with the logo, a print menu and business cards were designed as well.

Polymair's identity was also produced in a similar vein. In addition to website and identity design, Contagious Networks developed an e-commerce solution for the site based on Drupal, the Ubercart Module, and the Authorize.net Payment Processor. This setup ensures the highly desirable integration of carts into the website's layout (instead of external links) and also provides clients with a straightforward way to make updates.

The challenge was to create different private environments (calendars, files etc...) that could be accessed after the purchase of a membership. Your graduation year/membership type defines the environment and information you will receive.

The admin interface is easy to use, the whole website is now maintained by the RecruitingTrak staff and not by programmers. We are just called in for technical updates, upgrades, backups and to make sure the engine is running smoothly.
